duplicate smtp□CNF:<GUID> in Exchange 2003
Hello, I have installed Exchange 2003 Standard SP2 and had some errors related to SMTP. As per a Microsoft article I had to removed SMTP from IIS, re-add it to IIS, re-install Exchange and SP2. After I was done the errors were cleared and the Exchange server sends/receives email fine. However I have conflicting obejects in the Exchange System Manger. I have an SMTP folder with a working SMTP Virtual Server. But I also have a folder (under the Exchange Server Name then under Protocols) named SMTPcnf:<GUID> I also have this conflict for NNTP, OMA and Microsoft-Server-Active-Sync. I have found all these conflicted object in ADSIedit. Should I just delete these object with the "CNF:<GUID>" or not? I want to clean up the Exchange System manager and ensure that everything is working fine. Any help would be Greatly appreciated! Thanks, csarris
